A bumper album this. It contained some enduring gems like ‘Whatever it Takes’ and ‘Silent’ along with the original versions of ‘Without You’ and ‘Bedrock’. The album is padded with covers once again, nodding our thanks to The Time, Depeche Mode, Gary Numan and U2. There are some oddities with the unproduced versions of ‘Never’, ‘With Only You’, ‘Kiss the Window’ and ‘Denied Friend’. ‘Goodbye to the Fox’ was a strange song written with Darren that was going to be an epic ‘Europe’ (the band) sounding anthem a la their song ‘Open your heart’ but Darren left the band soon after and the song was never completed.
